Sew What?
I don't have my sewing machine out as much as I would like, but for the fun of it, I decided to use up some felt that I had. I looked at several duck and chick drawings and sort of free lanced my own template for these. The felt is the inexpensive eco felt that you get from Wal Mart and is made from recycled materials. I thought these would work great for Easter Egg hunts, especially for little ones. The chick is made from a whole piece of 9x12 inch folded in half, and then I used another color for the handles. The duck bag uses two pieces of felt, and I cut a little off each piece for the handles. They go together fast using the sewing machine. I tried hand sewing the chick, but my hand sewing isn't the greatest, so I finished it up by machine. Just a little fun over the weekend. One is for sale on my Etsy shop and the other one I'm saving for my grandson.
